What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Applied Chemistry Benchmark Specialist contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

PhD or doctoral candidate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field
Master's degree considered for candidates with exceptional depth in a specific subdomain
Strong command of graduate-level chemistry concepts, reaction mechanisms, and quantitative analysis
Experience with rigorous academic problem design or chemistry olympiad writing is a strong plus
Excellent written English and ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely

Compensation

Pay range is $61–$77/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
