Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Attorney — Document Understanding contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for practicing or recently practicing attorneys to help train AI systems on legal document analysis.
You'll evaluate AI-generated contract reviews, assess legal reasoning quality, and provide expert judgment on AI comprehension of agreements, briefs, regulatory filings, and other legal documents.
The ideal candidate holds a J.D. from a top law school and has hands-on experience in contract review, due diligence, or litigation support at a reputable firm.
You can quickly identify when AI misses critical clauses, misinterprets legal standards, or produces reasoning that wouldn't hold up to professional scrutiny.

Compensation

Pay range is $85–$100/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
