What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Backend Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

2+ years professional backend engineering experience
Proficient in a server language (Python, Go, Java, Node, etc.)
Regular user of AI coding agents (Cursor, Codex, etc.)
Experience designing APIs and shipping production services

Compensation

Pay is $85/hr. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
