What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Commercial Video Editor & Post-Production Lead (AI Evaluation) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in commercial editing and post-production, including pacing, continuity, versioning, color and delivery.
Design challenging, real-world editing tasks drawn from agency workflows, such as hero cuts with cutdowns, aspect-ratio reframes and localized versions, and produce reference edits with editable timelines in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Evaluate AI-generated video and edits and give clear, written feedback, catching problems with pacing and rhythm, continuity, audio sync, color accuracy, title safety and delivery specs.
Develop guidelines, rubrics and quality checks for editing and finishing, including technical checks with tools such as FFmpeg.

Compensation

Pay range is $70–$120/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
