Wunderlich-Malec is seeking a Controls Engineer for electrical/controls engineering on large-scale projects, including control system design, electrical panel design, and system commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Design control systems from scratch including hardware, software, and network components
Perform electrical design, power calculations, and component selection
Develop PLC/DCS control logic and software implementations
Create technical documentation including schematics and test plans
Support project startup, debugging, and commissioning
Act as technical lead, guiding junior engineers and contractors

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
10 years controls/automation engineering experience
Strong PLC programming with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens
Hardware and I/O system understanding
Ladder logic and structured text proficiency
Industrial automation or manufacturing background
Hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning experience
