What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Editorial, Deck & Document Designer (AI Evaluation) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in presentation design, editorial layout, typography, information design and print production.
Design challenging, real-world deck and document tasks, from executive summaries to brand books and brochures, and produce reference deliverables in editable source formats.
Evaluate AI-generated presentations, documents and infographics and give clear, written feedback, catching problems with grids, type hierarchy, chart accuracy, bleed, page setup and print color.
Develop guidelines, rubrics and quality checks for layout and typography, including technical checks on slide and PDF files.
Remote, independent contractor engagement through Gridnaut Recruiting.

Compensation

Pay range is $70–$120/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
