What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Engineering & Software Domain Expert contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

4+ years professional engineering/software experience (not internships)
Bachelor's or higher in CS, software, or related field
Senior-level title (Senior, Staff, Lead, Architect)
Bay Area resident or willing to relocate at own cost
Demonstrated domain specialization (e.g., backend, ML, embedded)

Compensation

Pay range is $65–$105/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
