What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Expert Software Engineer – Scala / Kotlin / OCaml contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

5+ years in Scala, Kotlin, or OCaml
Experience with Docker and CI environments
Strong written technical communication skills
Background in distributed systems or typed FP
Available 20–40 hrs/week, flexible schedule

Compensation

Pay range is $120–$200/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
