What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote French Linguistic Expert contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Native or near-native fluency in French, with excellent command over grammar, syntax, and stylistics
Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in French
Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage
Interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies is preferred but not required
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing
Clear communication skills and experience working in distributed, remote teams

Compensation

Pay is $50/hr. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
