What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote German Language and Literature Expert (German) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Native or near-native fluency in German, with excellent command of grammar, syntax, and stylistics
Professional experience in literary editing, copywriting, criticism, or NLP-related linguistic annotation in German
Strong understanding of literary complexity, tone, genre-specific conventions, and regional language variations
Interest in AI, translation technologies, or LLM-driven language research is preferred but not required
Impeccable attention to detail and ability to identify subtle translation errors or unnatural phrasing
Strong written communication skills and experience working with remote, distributed teams

Compensation

Pay is $50/hr. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
