What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote In-House Counsel (Japan) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

5+ years in-house counsel experience in Japan
Deep knowledge of Japanese commercial law
Experience with contract law matters
Comfortable with written legal analysis
Available for 10-hour confidential project

Compensation

Pay range is $140–$150/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
