What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Inorganic Chemistry & Synthesis Expert contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Evaluate technically complex problems involving inorganic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and materials synthesis.
Review and validate AI-generated scientific explanations, synthesis pathways, and experimental methodologies.
Assess reaction mechanisms, precursor selection, reaction conditions, phase formation, and materials stability.
Develop scientifically rigorous reference answers, technical evaluations, and reasoning frameworks.
Identify inaccuracies in chemical reasoning, proposed synthetic routes, and interpretations of experimental results.

Compensation

Pay is $84/hr. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
