Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Local Political Expert (Iowa) — Elections Forecasting & Political Risk contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

About the work We are building expert-authored forecasting and research data used to evaluate and improve AI models on real political and financial analysis.
Each task asks a practitioner to reason from a fixed evidence cutoff — no hindsight — and document the judgment a strong analyst would have made at that moment.
This role covers political report authorship: elections, polling, and political-risk events.
Remote, independent contractor engagement through Gridnaut Recruiting.

Compensation

Pay range is $100–$200/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
