Maintenance Tech Forge - 2nd Shift

American Axle (NYSE: AXL) is seeking a Maintenance Tech for forge operations on 2nd shift, maintaining equipment and working conditions for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely maintain equipment and working conditions to meet plant expectations
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain equipment, facility, and property
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
• Assist in training other maintenance specialists

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance/manufacturing experience (4 years preferred)
• Working knowledge of forging equipment, deflash, grinding, shot peening, and inspections
• Basic hydraulics and electrical experience
• ISO9001/IATF16949/ISO14001 awareness
