What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Molecular Biology Experts - US contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Hold an advanced degree, with PhD strongly preferred, in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, synthetic biology, bioengineering or a related life science field.
Have hands-on experience designing nucleic acid constructs, including primers, plasmids/vectors, gRNA/sgRNA, mRNA and HDR/repair templates, plus cloning strategy and codon optimization.
Have a strong peer-reviewed publication record, weighted toward first-author work in notable venues, and provide publication links.
Commit reliably to at least 20 hours per week on weekdays.
Have strong written communication and the ability to explain the reasoning behind a design choice clearly and precisely.

Compensation

Pay range is $70–$105/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
