Operations Research Model Prompt Evaluator

Gridnaut Recruiting seeks expert operations research professionals to create and evaluate high-quality prompts for AI model assessment. Workers will develop challenging optimization and decision-science problems, evaluating AI reasoning capabilities across multiple subdomain areas.

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $60-$80 hourly

Commitment: 10+ hours/week

Work Arrangement: Asynchronous, fully remote

Location Requirement: US-based

Task Types:

  • Authoring Task: Candidates create 5 original prompts at varying difficulty levels (undergraduate through graduate/professional), requiring human judgment to assess AI response quality in areas like optimization modeling, algorithmic analysis, and stochastic reasoning.
  • Verification Task: Reviewers examine 5 authored prompts for clarity, scope alignment, difficulty accuracy, and distinctiveness, editing assignments where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author clear, unambiguous, open-ended operations research prompts
  • Verify prompt scope alignment and difficulty ratings
  • Ensure 5 prompts per task are distinct with varying difficulty levels
  • Apply expert judgment assessing quantitative reasoning depth
  • Edit prompts and difficulty assignments per standards

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
  • 2-6 years professional/research experience in optimization, logistics, or decision science
  • Strong command of mathematical programming, probabilistic modeling, and algorithmic methods
  • Experience with Gurobi, CPLEX, or simulation tools preferred
  • Excellent written English and precise technical question crafting
