What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Performance & Directing Supervisor contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Set the quality bar: Define clear standards for acting realism, blocking, screen direction (the 180-degree rule and eyelines) and continuity, critique current evaluations, and help build a taxonomy of the ways generated performances fail.
Curate benchmarks: Identify, generate and curate strong examples of excellent and genuinely hard dramatic performances and staging, and test early model capabilities against them.
Critique model outputs: Review generated scenes the way you would in dailies, and write precise, actionable notes on performance, staging and continuity.
Shape the reviewer pool and captions: Help define how human reviewers are vetted and calibrated, and review captioning guidelines so performance and directing nuance is described accurately.

Compensation

Pay range is $70–$110/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment
