What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Performance Engineer (C++, Python, Rust) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

5+ years performance engineering or systems programming
Deep C++ (memory, concurrency, SIMD, compiler optimizations)
Python proficiency for profiling and benchmarking
Rust experience in systems or safety-critical roles
Track record of production performance improvements

Compensation

Pay range is $90–$120/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
