What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Performance Engineer contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

2+ years in performance engineering or systems programming
Deep expertise in C++, Python, or Rust
Proven production performance optimization results
Full-time (40 hrs/week), W-2 only, no side jobs
Strong technical writing and feedback skills

Compensation

Pay range is $100–$130/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
