Wunderlich-Malec is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to deliver automation systems across various industries, leading teams in PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA implementation with projects up to $1M.

Key Responsibilities:

Design control system architecture and select components
Program controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU) and HMI/SCADA systems
Develop databases for historical data archiving
Handle project management including budgeting, scheduling, and financial tracking
Mentor junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
10+ years controls engineer experience
Proficiency with PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon)
HMI/SCADA expertise (ICONICS Genesis64, Wonderware, GE CIMPLICITY, Rockwell FactoryTalk View)
Industrial networking and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)
Local to or have ties to Albuquerque area
