What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Senior Data Scientist and Data Engineering Experts contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Designing realistic, challenging data science and data engineering tasks, including but not limited to exploratory analyses, statistical modeling, machine learning pipelines, ETL and data pipeline design, SQL and Python workflows, and experimentation or A/B test write-ups
Illustrating "what good looks like" by writing precise, task-specific criteria for data science and data engineering deliverables
Applying consistent, evidence-based judgment so that assessments are reproducible and defensible
Taking structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterating on submitted work
Remote, independent contractor engagement through Gridnaut Recruiting.

Compensation

Pay range is $120–$180/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
