What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Senior Motion Designer & Creative Technologist (AI Evaluation) contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in motion design, kinetic typography, animated overlays and code-driven video.
Design challenging, real-world motion design tasks and produce reference deliverables in editable source formats, such as After Effects projects and code-based animations built with tools like Remotion, Canvas, SVG or Three.js.
Evaluate AI-generated motion graphics and video and give clear, written feedback, catching problems with timing, easing, typographic hierarchy, safe areas, tracking and sync.
Develop guidelines, rubrics and quality checks for motion design, including scripted technical checks on rendered output.

Compensation

Pay range is $70–$120/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
