Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Senior Python/FastAPI Backend Engineer contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

5+ years Python backend experience
Production FastAPI expertise
Located in US, UK, or Canada
Strong async/await and API design fundamentals
Comfortable with PostgreSQL and modern Python tooling

Compensation

Pay range is $60–$90/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
