What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Software Engineer, C — Codebase Q&A contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, project-based, and self-paced.

Who we're looking for

Select tasks from a pre-validated pool of C repositories pinned to a specific git commit and supplied with questions, rubrics, foils, and a golden solution.
Explore the repository until you understand the subsystem, including relevant PR or issue history.
Rewrite the task question so it defeats frontier coding agents while remaining well-defined and fairly answerable.
Adjust rubrics and foils so they reward correct reasoning and reject plausible-but-wrong answers.
Run the full validation loop in Studio — Check, Golden, Run, Analyze — until every stage passes.
Document the work in the task README and submit for expert review, addressing reviewer feedback on returned tasks.

Compensation

Compensation is a fixed project fee of $130, paid on completion. Strong contributors may be offered additional engagements.

Commitment

Project-based engagement, fully remote. Fixed-fee deliverable.
