What you'll do

Gridnaut Recruiting is hiring a remote Video Editing Professional contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Contribute original footage you shot and fully own (or source openly licensed footage) and author realistic editing briefs from it.
Build each task end to end in your own editing software: cut, introduce defects or distractors where the task calls for them, and produce the reference edit a correct result is judged against.
Write the grading criteria — concrete, checkable standards with the editorial reasoning behind them.
Blind-solve tasks built by other editors and write up a step-by-step solution.
5+ years editing professionally in film and TV, commercials, broadcast news, or creator and social production, owning deliverables end to end.

Compensation

Pay is $50/hr. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
